Designer

Jonas Forsman was born in Sweden in 1979 and is an award-winning industrial designer.
He studied furniture at Stenebyskolan and then graduated with a Master's degree in Industrial Design Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.
Today he lives in Gothenburg, Sweden, and runs his own design studio, specializing in furniture and product design.
Jonas Forsman often works with mechanical solutions and explores the possibilities of materials and fabrics. He reduces each product to its essentials, creating functional, innovative objects that transcend pure aesthetics.
His works have been exhibited several times in Gothenburg, Stockholm and Milan and have received several Red Dot Awards.
For HAY he designed the O2 Lounge Chair and the O2 Ottoman.
