A compact, upholstered lounge chair with a striking wooden side panel and elegant fabric upholstery—a combination of pure, durable materials and soft, ergonomic forms. Designed as a versatile piece of furniture, the Block Lounge Chair offers exceptional comfort despite its small footprint. The high-quality fabric features visible, fine stitching on both the front and back of the seat. The Block Lounge Chair is suitable for both small spaces and large, open interiors. Form & Refine and Herman Studio designed the Block Lounge Chair together for the 2022 Cabinetmakers' Autumn Exhibition in Copenhagen, a showcase of contemporary Danish furniture design. The chair is upholstered in the classic Hallingdal 65 wool fabric in a modern color and traditional pattern. The Hallingdal wool fabric lends comfort and a distinctive tactile quality to the Block Lounge Chair's cubic form. The upholstered seat cushion hugs the frame with gently rounded edges. The fabric Hallingdal 65 in colour 0227 was developed in collaboration with Kvadrat.
Material: FSC®-certified solid European oak. Fire-retardant foam (density 35 kg/m³, 100 mm / 70 mm / 10 mm) + 100 g wadding. Fabric: 65% cotton, 20% polyacrylic, 15% polyester. Back and bottom edges: multiplex.
