The Barro Cup by HAY, designed by Portuguese designer Rui Pereira, is part of the eponymous terracotta collection, whose name ("Barro") refers to the Portuguese word for "red earth." The cups are crafted in Portugal from durable clay and glazed with a vibrant high gloss—available in natural terracotta tones as well as pastel colors like light blue and pink.

With a diameter of approximately 8 cm, a height of approximately 8.4 cm, and a capacity of approximately 250 ml, they are ideal for coffee, tea, or small desserts—and always come in a practical set of two. The sturdy, generous handle and pleasantly rounded shape ensure a secure grip and a comfortable feel.

The Barro Cups are microwave-, oven- (up to 220°C), freezer-, and dishwasher-safe—extremely versatile for everyday use, from breakfast to dinner.
