Built on the minimalist AAC 252, the AAC 253 features continuous upholstery on the shell for even greater comfort. The slightly higher backrest and deeper seat ensure relaxed sitting, while the five-star castor base with gas lift allows for flexible height adjustment and 360° rotation. Low armrests provide support and allow the chair to slide under the table. With numerous colour and upholstery options, the AAC 253 adapts to stylish offices as well as modern living spaces.

Hee Welling is a Danish designer who founded his studio in Copenhagen in 2003. After studying at the School of Design in Helsinki and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, he developed furniture characterized by clear proportions and quiet elegance. For HAY, he designed the "About A" series and the "Hee" collection, and his functional designs have earned him awards such as the Bo Bedre Award and the Good Design Award.
