AAC 221 Soft focuses on even more comfort: in addition to the soft upholstery, the inside is finished with quilted padding that provides a particularly cozy seat. The curved shell with a higher backrest and deep seat practically envelops you, while the low armrests offer sufficient support and allow the chair to be tucked under a table. As with the standard model, the four-star swivel base ensures full mobility, and you can choose from a variety of upholstery fabrics and base colors. The chair thus adapts to any environment - whether meeting room or dining table - combining Scandinavian simplicity with luxurious comfort.

Hee Welling (b. 1974) studied at the University of Art and Design Helsinki and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. In 2003, he founded his own studio in Copenhagen. He became known for chair series such as About A Chair and Soft Edge, which impress with their clear proportions, technical finesse, and international simplicity.
