The elegant Ingeborg Sofa, a 2.5-seater, was designed by Flemming Lassen in 1940 but was never produced on a large scale. Only recently was the design rediscovered in the archives and meticulously reissued based on the original design sketches. Since then, the sofa has become one of the most coveted designs in contemporary design.

With its characteristic armrests, buttoned backrest, and delicate wooden legs, the sofa combines a surprisingly generous seating area with high comfort quality and an expressive design language. It adopts the characteristic design of the armchair of the same name and together with it forms a harmonious, inviting ensemble for modern living spaces.

The Ingeborg Sofa is available with a selection of high-quality upholstery fabrics. The legs are available in natural oak or smoked oak.

Flemming Lassen was a Danish architect and designer, considered one of the pioneers of functionalism in Denmark. His work was influenced by Bauhaus and Mies van der Rohe, combining strict form with human comfort. His lounge chair "The Tired Man," presented at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers’ Guild Exhibition in 1936, is particularly well-known. Lassen is celebrated for his craftsmanship and a warm, characterful modernism.
