Designed for HAY by Norwegian designer Andreas Bergsaker, the Chisel Lounge Chair is a contemporary yet timeless reinterpretation of the ever-present plywood chair. Named after the classic carpenter's tool, the chisel, the chair was born out of the desire to create a solid wooden chair with a striking silhouette that would stand the test of time. Designed with a focus on outstanding craftsmanship and ergonomics, the softly contoured, organic seat and backrest offer comfortable support in a visually appealing way. Angled legs with characteristic beveled edges continue the nod to the carving tool.
