Jasper Morrison (born 1959) is considered one of the most influential industrial designers of our time. After studying design in London and at the Royal College of Art, he founded his own studio in 1986 and has been known for the simplicity of his designs ever since. He has designed functional furniture and everyday objects for brands such as Vitra, Cappellini, Flos, and Emeco, including the "Low Pad Chair," the "Glo-Ball" lighting series, and the "1 Inch Reclaimed Chair." In 2006, together with Naoto Fukasawa, he coined the concept of "Super Normal," which focuses on everyday objects with a subtle aesthetic.
