AAC 226 combines the clear shell shape of the About a Chair family with a slender four-leg base. The slightly raised backrest and deep seat provide comfort, while the low armrests offer enough space to tuck it under a table. The gently outward-slanted legs give it lightness and stability. You can choose between numerous shell colors and upholstery options, ensuring the chair makes a good impression in the dining room, office, or public spaces alike.

Hee Welling is a Danish designer who founded his studio in Copenhagen in 2003. After studying at the School of Design in Helsinki and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, he developed furniture characterized by clear proportions and calm elegance. For HAY, he designed the "About A" series and the "Hee" collection, and his functional designs have earned him awards such as the Bo Bedre Award and the Good Design Award.
