Jasper Morrison (born 1959) is considered one of today's most influential industrial designers. After studying design in London and at the Royal College of Art, he founded his own studio in 1986 and has since been known for the simplicity of his designs. For brands such as Vitra, Cappellini, Flos, and Emeco, he designed functional furniture and everyday objects, including the "Low Pad Chair," the "Glo-Ball" lighting series, and the "1 Inch Reclaimed Chair." In 2006, together with Naoto Fukasawa, he coined the concept of "Super Normal," which focuses on everyday things with quiet aesthetics.
