At the same time, the silhouette remains pleasantly calm: the shell is gently curved, and the backrest extends slightly higher, providing noticeably more support.

The focus on everyday usability is also evident when sitting: the seat is rather deep and generous, so you can comfortably sit for longer periods – whether working, eating, or in meetings. The armrests provide good support but are proportioned in such a way that the chair fits easily under many tables and desks.

Hee Welling (born 1974) is a Danish designer from Copenhagen. He studied at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki and graduated with a Master's degree in Furniture Design from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Since 2003, he has run his studio in Copenhagen, designing furniture, interiors, lighting, and industrial designs. He is known, among other things, for the "About A" series and the "Hee" chair collection.
