The Ingeborg Lounge Chair and matching ottoman were originally designed by Flemming Lassen in 1940. The chair was crafted by master cabinetmaker Jakob Kjær for the annual Cabinetmakers' Guild Exhibition.

This charming armchair, named in homage to the artist Ingeborg Winding, mother of Flemming and Mogens Lassen, effortlessly adds character and exclusive elegance to any room. Flemming Lassen was a Danish architect and designer and is considered one of the pioneers of functionalism in Denmark. His work, influenced by the Bauhaus and Mies van der Rohe, combines strict form with human comfort. Particularly well-known is the lounge chair "The Tired Man", which was presented at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers’ Guild Exhibition in 1936. Lassen represents artisanal precision and a warm, characterful modernism.
