The Ingeborg Lounge Chair and matching ottoman were originally designed in 1940 by Flemming Lassen. The armchair was manufactured by master cabinetmaker Jakob Kjær, who produced Flemming Lassen's furniture for the annual Cabinetmakers' Guild Exhibition.

The charming lounge chair is named after the artist Ingeborg Winding, the mother of Flemming and Mogens Lassen. Despite its compact size, the Ingeborg enriches any room with its distinctive charisma and exclusive character. Its harmonious shape appears equally elegant from every perspective, allowing the chair to be flexibly placed in a room without taking up much space.

Material: Sheepskin Sahara

Dimensions: 39.5x51x41 (HxWxD)

Flemming Lassen was a Danish architect and designer and is considered one of the pioneers of functionalism in Denmark. His work was influenced by the Bauhaus and Mies van der Rohe, combining strict form with human comfort. Particularly well-known is the lounge chair "The Tired Man", which was presented at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild Exhibition in 1936. Lassen stands for artisanal precision and a warm, characterful modernism.
